I always had a fascination of eating Asian cuisine in those paper boxes they show in Hollywood series, especially Big Bang Theory. Recently got the opportunity to try out this place in Lower Parel, called Wok This Way & I loved this place. The place has its own vibrant yet elegant appeal, thanks to the ambiance. The outlet is well planned & maintained. Normally we see the kitchen is inside towards the extreme opposite end, but here the kitchen comes first & then the main seating area.
I love their concept of letting the customers choose what they want to eat as per their taste. We can choose starting from the wok, base, sauces, toppings, protein & condiments to have the food custom made. Honestly, according to me, non veg (chicken, fish, prawns) goes perfect with the wok when it comes to Asian cuisine but to my surprise this place being vegetarian, they really have managed to take vegetarian food to a whole new level & have kept it healthy too. The place has nice seating arrangement & not to forget the open glass kitchen where you can watch your order being prepared.
Their menu card is like the order form which reminded me of school days where in we were asked to fill in the answers & submit to the teacher. The staff is co-operative & the service is quick. According to the owner, Mr. Atit they prepare the sauces in-house after every 2 days & the veggies are stocked fresh daily. Their paper boxes are designed in such a way that the food remains hot for 1 hour max. So the takeaway option works well too.

Teppanyaki Grill (Cottage Cheese & Peas) with other selections
They serve two options: Medium wok – Rs. 199/- (300 gm) & Grand wok – Rs. 249/- (450 gm). The price may look bit on higher side but considering the healthiness & freshness in the food, that feels worth it. Well, overall experience of seeing your food being prepared right in front of you and the eating experience is amazing! And yes, the food is indeed delicious.
